Pantone, a deepdive
The Pantone Color Standard is a universal color matching system that helps ensure consistency in color reproduction across different industries and materials.
Developed by Pantone, this system assigns a unique number to each color, known as a Pantone Matching System (PMS) code, allowing designers, manufacturers, and printers to accurately communicate and replicate specific shades.
Whether it’s for branding, packaging, or product design, using Pantone colors guarantees that the exact hue you envision will look the same, no matter where or how it’s produced. This standard helps maintain brand consistency and eliminates color discrepancies.
